Lumizi solar lanterns can be used outdoors all year round. Hang them in the sun and the lanterns will provide magical light in the evening.

Lumiz is a sustainable LED lantern made of strong, weatherproof and 100% recyclable Tyvek, a patented material. Tyvek is a high quality material which means the lanterns will last.

The solar lantern is an LED lantern, which is charged throughout the day by solar batteries. The solar battery module in the lantern is made in a colour that matches the Tyvek and provides a warm LED light colour. To make the lantern shine at its best, Lumiz decided to develop its own solar module. The module contains rechargeable AAA batteries, which are charged optimally in sunlight.

Under optimal sunny conditions, the lantern can glow for 6-8 hours. The intensity of the light may decrease after 5-6 hours.

Charging tip: hang the lantern where the sun can shine directly on the solar panel.

Maintenance: clean the solar panel with a soft damp cloth. The solar energy absorption will then remain at maximum capacity. The Tyvek material can be wiped with a soft damp cloth if necessary.

If you want to pack the lantern away in winter, they are easy to fold up so that they are completely flat. We recommend removing the batteries from the solar module. (Leaving the batteries in the solar panel for a long period of time can cause leakage and damage to the electronic components).
